About Me
A highly abbreviated bio

Me, down on Cape Cod, surfcasting with a friend at the tail end of the summer in 2022.
I currently reside in a quiet town north of Boston that has a surprising amount of great fishing spots. My oldest son Evan is now a dedicated angler, and it's remarkable how quickly his skillset has developed (thanks, YouTube). I'm usually the one tagging along on his outings these days.

In terms of my artistic background, I was an avid artist growing up in a variety of mediums. I won a few awards and had some pieces displayed at a few spots, but with job and family responsibilities taking priority I drifted away from it for a bit.
A lifelong resident of Massachusetts, I’ve been fishing the waterways of New England since I was a young kid. I dabble in a variety of fishing methods: surfcasting on Plum Island, kayak or paddle board fishing for bass, perusing small streams for brook trout, and occasionally some ice fishing if the weather cooperates. However, I am far from an expert in any of these disciplines, and I'm constantly humbled in my pursuit of fish. If nothing else my mistakes serve as comic relief. But that's also why I love the sport, it's a constant journey and it's a great excuse to get outside and explore.

I re-discovered the enjoyment that painting provides in recent years and it now serves as a quiet diversion from a sometimes hectic daily life.

There's definitely a seasonality to my painting efforts - once the New England winter settles in, my outdoor activities start to taper a bit and I find myself with more time to devote to art.

So, if you have any special requests the best time to put those in is between December and February - as that's when I generally try to re-stock inventory.
